Engineered Overlap Sealing
Calculated +2" overhang on all sides improves coverage, reduces splash-in, and enhances edge protection.
Real-world performance
- Rain: Reduces splash-in and helps keep debris out. Water sheds off the cover and may drip at edges depending on grade and wind.
- Snow: Helps prevent snow from entering the well. Snow can accumulate on top and should be cleared after heavy storms.
- Condensation: In cold/humid conditions, temporary condensation on the underside is normal.
Note: This product reduces water/debris entry but does not make an egress well “waterproof”. Proper grading and drainage remain important.

How to measure (required)
Measure the inside opening of your egress well. To ensure coverage and proper sealing, we build the cover with an overlap.
- Width: measure left-to-right, then add +2" per side (total +4").
- Depth: measure from wall to outer edge, then add +2" per side (total +4").
- Height / Rise: measure the rise needed for slope/clearance. Add +2" clearance.
Example: well width 41.25" → enter 45.25".

Is IRONNEST SYSTEM™ fully waterproof?
It is designed to reduce rain splash-in, snow buildup, and debris accumulation. It is not a flood-proof system and is not intended to stop water during major flooding events.
What measurements do I need?
You must provide Width, Depth, and Height. Pricing is based on the selected Width Range. Your exact width must fall inside that range.
What if I measure wrong?
Because each unit is custom-built, measurements must be accurate. If you want zero-risk, choose our paid On-Site Measurement service (NY / NJ / CT / PA availability).
Do you offer installation?
Yes — paid installation is available through HandyHome Master in select areas (NY / NJ / CT / PA). For other locations, we ship with standard install guidance.
How long does production take?
Typical production lead time is 7–14 days, then shipping time is added depending on destination.
What's included in the warranty?
Structural warranty coverage: Basic 2 years, Pro 4 years, Elite 6 years. Rubber sealing components can wear over time depending on exposure and are considered wear items.
